Bike SA and the Adelaide Italian Festival extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of David Adamson who tragically passed away following a serious incident while participating in our La Grande Gita event on Sunday, 10 November.

David was a Bike SA member and an avid cyclist. His loss is profoundly felt by many across the cycling community.

We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to the riders, volunteers, staff members, and emergency services personnel who acted with urgency and compassion to provide assistance to David. Your efforts reflect the incredible spirit and care that define our cycling community.

Our thoughts are with David’s wife Tricia as well as his children and their partners, Ryan and Anny and Logan and Georgia, during this immensely difficult time, and we are committed to honouring his memory with respect and care.
